I went to a wedding on the other side of the state yesterday. On my way home I stopped by my favorite road side rest. I say this particular road side rest is my favorite because somebody always leaves a few Watchtowers and Awakes for weary travelers to take. So whenever I pass by I stop, grab a pen, and autograph every copy with freeminds.org. How much time should I claim? Does my time start when I left this morning and end when I got home? Or should I only count the 10 minutes I was at the road side rest?

Michael Moore wants Castro to be his date for the Oscars. Moore also wants Castro to give his acceptance speech when Sicko wins as long as Castro agrees to keep the speech under 5 hours.

And while the people of Cuba are broke, Fidel, his brother, and other hangers-on have stashed away a few bucks. If you find his account in Zurich you can gain access with the following:

And I thought stuff like this only happens in Wisconsin.
There's a guy named Bryan Hathaway (do a google search to confirm my tale of depravity) over in Wisconsin, not too far from where I live in sane Minnesota, who spent some time in jail for killing a horse with the intention of having sex with it. After he got out of jail for the horse incident he got caught having sex with a road killed deer in the ditch. This actually caused a legal debate regarding whether or not Wisconsin's anti-beastiality law was applicable as the deer was dead and the statute did not prohibit sex with a carcass. The court did decide that the law applied and Hathaway spent some more time in jail. When he was released one of the conditions was that he could not be in close proximity to animals. Well, the annual county fair came along and guess who was caught in one of the livestock barns ogling a cow? Hathaway was busted again. He was recently sent back to jail for drinking, smoking pot, lying to his probation office, having unauthorized sex with an adult (at least the sex was human-human), and, most disturbing, having unauthorized contact with a minor.

While the debate about what fractions of blood are acceptable and which are not acceptable is interesting, until Jehovah's Witnesses are given a green light to DONATE BLOOD, all of them should check the "will not accept" box next to all of the questions.

Thoughts on Rush Limbaugh
by dawg inwhile watching the network's coverage on the election, i kept noticing how the announcers kept talking about what impact the rush limbaugh show might have on the republican vote... they felt his show might sway the votes away from mccain... .
now, all you conservatives out there, isn't it one of the biggest embarassments you can ever have, to know that rush limbaugh can have an effect on how your party votes?
if i knew that people thinking like rush limbaugh were voting for my candidate, that would automatically make me vote the other way.. i mean honestly, how can you not be embarrased that your party holds a man such as rush limbaugh in high esteem?

Ike is one of my all time favorites
Did you know that Eisenhower's parents were Jehovah's Witnesses?
Eisenhower's family originally belonged to the local River Brethren sect of the Mennonites. However, when Ike was five years old, his parents became followers of the WatchTower Society, whose members later took the name Jehovah's Witnesses. The Eisenhower home served as the local WatchTower meeting Hall from 1896 to 1915, when Eisenhower's father stopped regularly associating due to the WatchTower's failed prophesies that Armageddon would occur in October 1914 and 1915. Ike's father received a WatchTower funeral when he died in the 1940s. Ike's mother continued as an active Jehovah's Witness until her death. Ike and his brothers also stopped associating regularly after 1915. Ike enjoyed a close relationship with his mother throughout their lifetimes, and he even used a WatchTower printed Bible for his second Presidential Inauguration. In later years, Eisenhower was baptized, confirmed, and became a communicant in the Presbyterian church in a single ceremony on February 1, 1953, just weeks after his first inauguration as president. In his retirement years, he was a member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Before the local Air America station pulled the plug (if Air America couldn't make it in NE Minnesota I doubt its prospects for long term survival) I used to flip between Rush and Al Franken. Both of them got nasty at times. Now Franken is running for Senate in Minnesota and seems to be running a pretty good campaign. Rush is and always has been a political entertainer. I lost all respect for him when during his TV show he said something about the Clinton's having a "first dog" and then put up a picture of young Chelsea. She was at that awkward stage, you know that point between being a cute little kid and the beautiful young woman she grew up to be. Anyway, I thought it was a really cheap, tacky shot to take at a someone who was 12 or 13 years old. What a prick.

I would vote for Hillary for two reasons.
1) I believe that Hillary Clinton would not hesitate to pull the trigger.
2) As President, Hillary Clinton will mainstream the term "f _ cki _ g c _ _t" and that will be a great day in America.
God Bless and on Tuesday remember to vote early and often.
